$250 Friday & Saturday, October 18 & 19, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

These are words to live by and enjoy and also words you will hear repeatedly over this two-day workshop! Rebecca uses her experience as a professional mixed media artist and instructor to lead you on a journey creating original art you produce by uncovering your talent within. The two-day workshop is perfect for all skill levels from beginner to master artist. No previous experience is necessary. Students explore several mediums: charcoal, pastel, acrylic, oil and watercolor on an assortment of paper surfaces transferred from a gel plate. Experience laying techniques with the help of mat medium, gesso and glue sticks. Paint, cut, paste, layer and draw until you discover the masterpiece to take home -- it could be a 3" x 3" piece or one as large as 16" x 20". Here’s how Rebecca defines an ARTIST: someone who Activates Resources Today In Stead of Tomorrow! Rebecca provides most of the supplies, buts asks that each student bring a Smooth Bristol 18" x 24" 103 lb. Paper Pad and a good pair of scissors to this workshop limited to fifteen (15) students.
